Advanced Placement Strategies™, Inc. (APS) is a non-profit corporation that works with Texas schools and the private sector to maximize the number of students passing Advanced Placement™ exams by planning, implementing, and managing Pre-AP® and AP Incentive Programs™ within the state of Texas.

Randy Baskin Science Coordinator Before joining AP Strategies™ in August 2004, Randy served as the Science Department Chair of S. H. Rider High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was instrumental in the development of AP® Physics B & C at S. H. Rider High School. He was a recipient of the West Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence in 1998 and 2003. He was a recipient of  the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program Teacher Recognition Award in 1999. Randy is a contributing author to Laying the Foundation® guides produced by AP Strategies.
