Advanced Placement Strategies™, Inc. (APS) is a non-profit corporation that works with Texas schools and the private sector to maximize the number of students passing Advanced Placement™ exams by planning, implementing, and managing Pre-AP® and AP Incentive Programs™ within the state of Texas.

Debbee Reynolds
Program Director

  • Since joining AP Strategies™ in 2001, Debbee has trained school counselors and AP® coordinators in districts that work with AP Strategies to build AP programs and strengthen their high school to college programs.
  • To increase students' awareness of AP programs, she develops and implements Pre-AP® and AP Parent/Student Information Nights.
  • She was the Coordinator of Counseling at Southlake Carroll Senior High School for seven years.
  • In May 2002, Debbee presented the first Southlake Carroll District "Excellence In Counseling Award" which has been named the "Debbee Reynolds Lekavich Excellence in Counseling Award".  The award will be presented annually with a $500 cash scholarship to a dedicated counselor in the district.
  • She developed College Workshops and Campus Chat Programs to enhance opportunities for students and parents to spend quality time with College Admission Officers.
  • She has been a testing coordinator for the AP, PSAT®, SAT®, ACT®, TAAS, PLAN, CBEs®.
  • She is a presenter and member of numerous professional organizations including TACAC, NACAC, TCA, TAC.
  • Debbee has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1991.
