Cynthia Alva College Advisor Cynthia joined AP Strategies in August 2009 as the RAE College Advisor for Thomas Jefferson High School. She received her M.Ed. in Bilingual and Gifted and Talented Education from Southern Methodist University in 2005. Cynthia earned her BA in Sociology and Pre-Medicine from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. Cynthia has 8 years of experience in public and private education including teaching Spanish, academic advising and college counseling.
