Brenda Bradford
President
- Brenda has 33 years of experience in the public school system. She has taught BC Calculus and in 2002, she became Advanced Placement™ Coordinator of Dallas ISD where she led the AP Incentive Program.
- As math department chair at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, TX, she created and wrote the curriculum for the first MAC Calculus computer class in the state of TX.
- In 1998, she became Lead Calculus Teacher for Dallas ISD. While she was a Calculus teacher at the Science Engineering Magnet, her students' passing AP scores rose from 32 to 102 in three years. In 2002, her BC Calculus scores for minority passing were number 1 in the nation.
- Brenda has extensive experience writing curricula and training teachers in Advanced Placement and differentiation for the talented and gifted.
- She received the Chevron "Best Practices" Award.
- She was named Tandy Technology Teacher of the Year.
- She was the editor of Schaum's Outline College Algebra, McGraw-Hill.
- Brenda is a Laying the Foundation® Pre-Calculus Editor.
- She earned a BS in mathematics education and a MS in secondary education from Northern Illinois University.
