Advanced Placement Strategies™, Inc. (APS) is a non-profit corporation that works with Texas schools and the private sector to maximize the number of students passing Advanced Placement™ exams by planning, implementing, and managing Pre-AP® and AP Incentive Programs™ within the state of Texas.

Student Performances

Students were invited to showcase their talent by giving impromptu musical performances in front of their peers. A number of students took on this challenge and gave exceptional performances.

Read Davis from Plano Senior High School performed an acoustic guitar rendition of "Walking Blues" by Robert Johnson.
Members of the Plano West Senior High School Syncopation Group: Kyle Topham, Laura LaGrone, Allison Gutekunst, Katie Coburn, Mark Tatum, Lauren Domain, and Amanda Sherwood performed "Gone".
 
Oskar Shamukhamedov from Plano West High School performed an improvised piano solo.
Cristen Currie from Plano Senior High School performed a piano solo.
