Free-Form

Plaster

Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
Instructor: Paige Furr

The purpose of free-form is to experiment with molds and plaster. First I made molds of organic shapes out of clay, poured the plaster, and then peeled the clay mold. Rasps, wet-dry sand paper, and various other tools were used to shave off rough, chunky excess areas. All the pieces can be separate or link together like a puzzle.
