APS Facts

During the 2011-12 school year, APS will manage the APTIP Program in 66 high schools across 14 school districts. As a result, more than 22,500 students (a 13% increase of 2010-2011) are enrolled in AP math, science, and english courses at these high schools.
Through the generosity of our donors, in 2010 APS awarded more than $1.5 million in performance-based incentives to high-performing Texas high school teachers and students.
Schools in their first year of a Texas APS Program increase qualifying scores and exam participation by 128 percent.
