Charlotte became the President of Advanced Placement Strategies, Inc. in July, 2010. Carlisle has 20 years of experience as a math teacher in Texas and most recently was the Director of Math Services for the Massachusetts Math and Science Initiative (MMSI). Under her leadership at MMSI, the enrollment in AP math in 21 Massachusetts schools increased from 588 students in 2008 to 1270 in 2009, a 91% increase. In addition, the MMSI program has lead to a 102% increase in AP qualifying scores since 2008. During her teaching career, she worked with The College Board to train hundreds of math teachers across the country in curriculum development and student recruitment and she received the Texas Excellence Award for Outstanding High School Teachers in 1996. Carlisle earned a BS in Education from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
